It’s Time to Fuel Better

I originally wrote this post in 2020, when I first launched Fuel Better with Lindsay. Six years later, the reasons haven’t changed much, but my perspective has sharpened considerably.

Here’s what I know now that I didn’t fully have the words for then:

Most people still don’t have a solid foundation in nutrition, and the noise has only gotten louder.

Social media, supplement marketing, and algorithm-driven content have made it harder than ever to cut through the noise. The information overload is real, and it’s leaving people more confused and more cynical than ever. My job is to cut through that and make nutrition straightforward, practical, and actually applicable to your life.

Nutrition as a long-term investment still doesn’t get enough attention.

We talk a lot about aesthetics and short-term fixes, but rarely about what it means to fuel your body in a way that supports your health over decades. I want to help people think longer-term and build habits that compound over time; not just habits that get them to an event or through a challenge.

Diet culture is more sophisticated now, and harder to spot.

In 2020 I was watching people fall for fad diets and questionable supplements. That hasn’t gone away, it’s just gotten slicker. The “quick fix” has rebranded itself a dozen times over. I’m still here to call it out, and to remind you that lasting results are a byproduct of consistency, not intensity.

Accountability and community matter more than ever.

This hasn’t changed at all. Changing your relationship with food is hard, and trying to do it alone makes it harder. Whether you’re just starting out or refining an approach that’s mostly working, having support in your corner makes a real difference.

Six years after the original post, I’m more direct, more experienced, and more confident in what actually works. I’m not here to sell you a transformation or promise a specific number on the scale. I’m here to help you build a relationship with food and your body that holds up in real life. Not just on a good week. Results will follow.

If that sounds like what you’ve been looking for, let’s talk.
